My supervised experience was formative in helping me cultivate my own therapeutic style. Because my supervisory relationship was so rewarding, I strive to create the same environment for my LPC Associates and consultation clients.

While the requirements of LPC Supervision and CEDS Consultation are different, my goal is the same. I strive to provide a wealth of helpful intervention ideas and conceptualization strategies, while helping my colleagues identify and hone their unique counseling style.

My supervision style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I provide both “on-site” and “off-site” supervision, so some of the LPC Associates I supervise work as employees of my practice, while others work at outside treatment centers or agencies and meet with me weekly for supervision. For my “on-site” associates, there is also a strong focus on preparing them for private practice.
